This was Ivan's first venture into American muscle. We rebuild his Buddy's genuine 1966 Shelby Hertz and he requested that we perform some magic on this original Californian GT Fastback. Fairly original in its appearance but a real wolf in sheeps clothing.

Martin came to us with his Immaculate genuine 1968 302 Z/28 Chevrolet Camaro for some clutch and carby issues. After completely restoring the carby, retuning the engine, and rectifying the clutch issues this car now has some serious get up and go..Big Blocks watch out!!!!!

In 1966 Carroll Shelby signed a deal with the Hertz rental car company for around 1000 cars. Around 750 of them were black with gold stripes, but a few other colours were also offered. Here are 2 of the other colours being represented along with gary's genuine black and Gold rent-a-racer, is my own Blue/Gold stripe and JL's Red/Gold stripe replica rent-a-racers, each one of these cars have completely different engine, transmission, suspension and braking packages. This is a true muscle car that we all dream about owning and driving. Geoff came to us shortly after importing the vehicle from the USA to prepare the car for registration in NSW. The car was restored in the USA and had been sitting for many years after being restored and not having been driven. It has a very cammy 426 Hemi engine which just oozes pure American Muscle car. the brakes needed to be fully overhauled due to sitting for many years.
